Afterglow is a superb "Soft rock" track from one of my fav bands INXS. For people who don't know, INXS is an Australia based band. The song afterglow appears in the album Switch. This was the first album after the entry of new Vocalist J. D. Fortune, the winner from the reality talent hunt show "Rock Star: INXS".
The song was written by Andrew Farriss and Desmond Child.

The song was written as a tribute to the great Michael Hutchence, one of the founders of the band and one of the greatest musicians. Michael was alleged to have committed suicide in 1997. The official INXS website however states that the song wasn't directly written for Michael, but it was a tribute to him. The website also states that the song "deals quite generically with the sense of loss." J.D fits in the band quite well, and this song probably explains how he doesn't want to take over, and just wants to continue Michael's legacy.

I love this line so much: "Touch me and I will follow in your afterglow". This probably explains the whole song.

The guitar chords for this song is really easy and simple. For the strumming pattern, just play the song with the track for a while and you will get the rhythm pattern. You can also play the acoustic version of the song.

Indian National Anthem - Jana Gana Mana Guitar Chords, Lyrics, Tabs, Facts & Meanings

Wow, it feels great to be posting the Indian National Anthem on this blog. It will be 62 years of independence on 15th of this month, August 2009. We all know history, and we all know how our great freedom fighters lost their lives to make India free. So, lets remember all those greatest brave souls of the country today.

Some facts about the Indian National Anthem "Jana Gana Mana" that you may or may not know.

Jana Gana Mana is written by the great Rabindranath Tagore, and was originally composed by Ram singh Thakur in 1911 and was first sung at the Indian National congress on 27th Dec, 1911.

Jana Gana Mana was officially announced as the Indian National Anthem on January 24th, 1950 by the Constituent assembly, just two days before the Indian Republic day.

Although written in Bengali, the pronunciation of the anthem varies considerably across India due to the country's extensive linguistic diversity.

O! Dispenser of India's destiny, thou art the ruler of the minds of all people
Thy name rouses the hearts of Punjab, Sindh, Gujarat, the Maratha country,

The song Aicha has a good history about its origin.. It was originally written in french by Singer Songwriter Jean-Jacques Goldman. It was originally composed and sung by Khaled, Yes the "Didi" man.

Outlandish wrote and recorded the english version of Aicha, and was released in their second album all over. The video of the song "Aicha" won the best music video award.

With Beautiful lyrics and music, Aicha has always been one of my favs. The song is about women, and if you see the video and you the read the lyrics of the song, you will understand. Each line in this song explains about a woman's quality and what all she does and she can do. We, men know about it, but we find it hard to accept, that it's so difficult being a woman.
