Vijeeth...Have been trying to learn the guitar for about six odd months now...So although I can grip most of the basic chords,I still have a couple of concerns...Firstly,I really haven't had anybody teach me strum patterns correctly...For instance,I just saw the chords for "Sar Kiye"posted on ur blog...I know how to hold the chords mentioned but cant strum the rhythm of this song 4 nuts...The other thing is that I cant really sing along when I'm playing...Would appreciate it if you could give me some tips...

Thanks for commenting.. I actually dont follow the down up down up kind of strumming patter.. Coz, if you start following that when you are learning, you tend to rely only on that..

Infact, i always listen to the songs carefully, understand the tempo and rhythm of the song, and then play with the track for a couple of times, to get the strumming pattern of the song..

And this is a universal rule, which most of the guys follow.
