Well, I first heard this song in the movie Shrek and loved it.. This song was originally composed by Neil Diamond and recorded by the band 'The Monkees' in 1966 with the lead vocals by Micky Dolenz. Though, the version in the movie Shrek was a cover by Smash Mouth

Don know anything more about both these bands apart from the song 'I'm a believer'... infact, this was one of the first songs i had heard, since the time im following this genre of music.. i even remember the complete lyrics ;).. on another note, din expect this song on your blog, din know you like it so much.. im plesantly surprised.. keep up the work!
