What a song, Kailash kher at his best.... The song is from the movie Dasvidaniya, the movie is not released yet, i am waiting to watch this movie..
The song is a beautiful song, dedicated to mothers.. Vinay pathak sings this song to his mother in the movie.. I dont need to explain the meaning of the song as the song is very much self-explanatory.
There is not much use of instruments in the song, just guitars and a djembe.... There are other good songs in the movie too, Alvida and Muskura are very well made

Thanks for all those lovely comments, I dedicate this song to my mom, and all the moms in the world....
For the strumming pattern, as i always say.. Try to play really slow with the song running at the back of ur mind.. And then play with the track for a couple of times... I am sure you figure out the strumming patter after that..
Strumming pattern is nothing but the rhythm of the song, try to get the rhythm of the song, by snapping ur fingers maybe or memorising the tune in ur mind.. It worked for me...

I don't know hindi or anything about the meaning of the lyrics except for the "pyari ma" line and like the overall meaning of the song.
However, what I do know anything about is playing guitar, and I must say the chords at "Ho khuda pe bhi asar" and so on sounds a little odd when you play it like it says here. Shouldn't it be Bb C rather than F C?
Anyway great song and good job with the chords, can't wait to rewatch this movie :)

I think instead of 'Bb' it should be 'Am'... Try it, Sounds better...
