Nirvana / David Bowie - The Man who sold the World Guitar chords, Lyrics, Tabs & Meanings

My first Nirvana post, and i hate myself for that, dont know what took me so long to write on Nirvana. Alright, its better late than never...

Ya, i know, i know, this is not an original Nirvana track, but the Nirvana cover was the first one i heard, and loved. The original composition is from David Bowie, what an artist he is, full credit to him too. I am not comparing both the artists here, they both are brilliant.

Like many other alternative rock fan lovers, i also grew up listening to Nirvana among other bands, and loved all the songs they made.. Kurt cobain, he was the god, what talent man....

Sources say that this song was inspired by David Bowie problems with multiple personalities, and is also believed to be partly inspired by the poem "Antigonish" by William Hughes Mearns. Search for this poem on google and check out the meaning. It kind of relates to the song in a strange way.. But i found the multiple personalities thing perfect for this song.... The lines "Although I wasn't there, he said I was his friend" and "Oh no, not me, I never lost control" gives me that multiple personality feeling....

Anyways, only the songwriter can tell us, what was the original thought behind this song, till then we can keep discussing the meaning here.

Please leave your comments for discussing the meaning of this song.

The Bb chord is actually a C# chord (do c position one fret up for all threre finders and let high e and g open strinsg ring: awesome chord that "makes" the song)
