We all know by now that Live Earth 2008 is being hosted in Mumbai, India. The Concert is on Dec 7th at Andheri Sports Complex, Andheri.
This event will follow up last year's musical extravaganza, the largest global entertainment event till date. Last year's Live Earth concert covered four continents, and saw 150 acts performed over a 24-hour period and sparked a three-year commitment to raising awareness of a climate in crisis.
Amitabh Bachchan along with his family will be promoting this event, and will also be performing in this event. The founders of Live Earth former US President Al Gore and producer Kevin Wall, found a lot of support from Nobel Prize winner Rajendra Pauchari and Director Shekhar Kapoor, besides the Bachchans.
The beneficiaries of Live Earth 2008 will be TERI, which stands for "The Energy and Research Institute". TERI is headed by Nobel Prize winner Rajendra Pauchari. The beneficiaries of the Live Earth concert 2008 will also go to an organisation called "Climat Project India"
