Another beautiful song by another fav band, The Scientist by Coldplay. The Scientist comes from the album "A Rush of Blood to the head", and I love the title. The song was written collaboratively by all the band members, and is built around a Piano Ballad and falsetto.

I just love the video of this song, its definitely a must watch, the video has a reverse narrative and I just love it. The video has a suspense at the end, so do watch it on Youtube. In order for Chris Martin to appear to be mouthing the lyrics in the reversed footage, he had to learn to sing the song backwards, which took him a month to do. The video also won 3 MTV Music video awards.

About the meaning, the song is about a break up or losing someone you loves and Chris Martin is trying to use science and reason to figure out what went wrong. But even that doesn't make sense to him. The line "take me back to the start" is where he wants to take things back to the very begining of the relationship when everything was okay.
