Back after a while. Whatever happened to all those promises to the followers here and to myself for updating this blog regularly? Anyways, it's better late than never, and here I am with 21 Guns by one of my fav bands of all time, Greenday.

I just loved this song the first time I heard it, and loved it evenmore after I saw the video for the first time on VH1. This song is from the album "21st Century Breakdown", they won a Grammy for this album for the "Best Rock Album". They also performed this song live at the Grammy's with the cast of "American Idiot" Musical. The official video of 21 Guns won the "Best Rock Video", "Best Direction in a Video" and "Best Cinematography in a Video" for the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards.

Its a beautiful song with great meaning. In simple words, the song is about Peace and against war, about hopelessness, uncertainty, and the ever-present pain..
