Pink Floyd - Brain Damage Guitar Chords, Lyrics, Tabs & Meaning

Brain Damage, A classic from Pink Floyd, this is from the album "The Dark Side of the Moon".. All the tracks in the album are about insanity, Some people also claim that the whole album was about "Syd Barett", the founder member of the band

The concept of Dark Side of the Moon is that of the factors in everyday life which lead people to madness. The members of Pink Floyd wanted to know if everday life can make you go insane, and they actually stopped people on the street and asked them questions, then they put them on the album.

Trivia note: Paul and Linda McCartney were among those interviewed but they weren't put into the album because they thought that they sounded "too average".

I believe that "Brain Damage" is the final culmination of insanity..the factors which lead to it are discussed, and "Brain Damage" is the actual insanity as it happens.

Alright, so, i promise to post all the songs from this album, dont forget to check out Time, Money, Us and them, Eclipse and more.. till then enjoy playing Brain Damage guitar chords.

Pink Floyd - Brain Damage Guitar Chords, Lyrics, Tabs & Meaning

[D]The lunatic is on the [G7]grass
[D]The lunatic is on the [G7]grass
[D]Remembering games and [E]daisy chains and laughs
[A7]Got to keep the loonies on the [D]path.

[D]The lunatic is in the [G7]hall
[D]The lunatics are in my [G7]hall
[D]The paper holds their folded [E]faces to the floor
And [A7]every day the paperboy brings [D]more

[D/F#]And if the dam breaks open [E]many years too soon
[G]And if there is no room [D/F#]upon the hill
[D/F#]And if your head explodes with [E]dark forbodings too
I'll [G]see you on the dark side of the [D/F#]moon.

[D]The lunatic is in my [G7]head
[D]The lunatic is in my [G7]head
[D]You raise the blade, [E]you make the change
[A7]You rearrange me till I'm [D]sa ne

[D]You lock the door and [E]throw away the key
There's [A7]someone in my head but it's not [D]me

[D/F#]And if the cloud bursts [E]thunder in your ear
[G]You shout and no one seems to [D/F#]hear
[D/F#]And if the band you're in starts [E]playing different tunes
I'll [G]see you on the dark side of the [D/F#]moon.

I can't think of anything to say except...
I think it's marvellous! HaHaHa!"
